Look not to what is seen
for it is transitory.
But look to the unseen
for it’s eternal glory.
When a five-year-old looks at the blue sky and says, “that’s my favorite place to look for God,” he is seeking the unseen. And he is seeing a tiny shimmer of the glory of heaven here on earth.
This scripture poem, “Look Not,” was inspired by 2 Corinthians 4:18, as well as a five-year-old’s observation.
Blessings Sharon, I am not a five year old but will share the same thoughts as each time I look into the sky, seeing the various formation of the clouds, sometimes looking like steps into heaven I have a slight glimpse of what to expect, yet, it is beyond my imagination. Beautiful poetry and posts. Thank You.
I agree, Lynn; heaven is beyond imagination!
Thank you for your positive feedback, and blessings to you too.
My dear, precious daugter, so happy that you have been discovered by the National Catholic Register.
