Look Not

Look not to what is seen

for it is transitory.

But look to the unseen

for it’s eternal glory.

When a five-year-old looks at the blue sky and says, “that’s my favorite place to look for God,” he is seeking the unseen. And he is seeing a tiny shimmer of the glory of heaven here on earth.

This scripture poem, “Look Not,” was inspired by 2 Corinthians 4:18, as well as a five-year-old’s observation.

Blessings Sharon, I am not a five year old but will share the same thoughts as each time I look into the sky, seeing the various formation of the clouds, sometimes looking like steps into heaven I have a slight glimpse of what to expect, yet, it is beyond my imagination. Beautiful poetry and posts. Thank You.
